The Switch On table lamps by Lambert are based on an early industrial model. The old articulated joints have been replicated in great detail, and are what make Switch On such a flexible lamp.
Purism is also reflected in the materials: the steel of the rods, pressed metal foot and nickel-plated aluminium reflector are reminiscent of a time when electricity was not yet available to everyone through power sockets. The shiny nickel plating gives this Lambert classic its modern and elegant appearance.
