Altair Lamp by Leonardo Criolani

Altair takes its name from a star, because as the stars seem suspended in the sky, the light seems to be suspended in this lamp, embedded between two mirrors, which reflect and it expandes the light, creating a pleasant light game.

Leonardo Criolani:

I have studied different forms before coming to this simple solution, but the most functional. All concentration is directed towards the center of the light, and as if she wants to escape her wrap. Every detail has been taken care of, for example the lamp attachment was covered by a natural wood casing, the electric wire is covered in fabric to give even more delicate touch to the lamp.

The lamp is made of mirror polished stainless steel, and internally coated with ecological skin in metallic gold color that help also the safety of the crystal globe of the lamp source. For the packaging, a laser cut and engraved MDF box was designed and made. The dimensions are p.14 x h.20 x 10 cm (p.5,5 x h.7,8 x 4 in).
