I was very skeptical ordering sight unseen from an online store, especially when spending so much money for a dining room. I did have to contact them and they were friendly and helpful. Unbelievably, the shipment arrived 2 1/2 weeks after it was ordered, as stated. The local furniture stores had a 3 month or more wait!! When it arrived, everything was so carefully packed and protected. The quality of the product is incredible. The instructions were horrible and at least an hour of time was spent figuring out what piece went where on the china cabinet. But it is gorgeous, SOLUD furniture, I highly recommend Sohomod, and I will definitely be purchasing more furniture and recommending them to everyone.

I've recently bought many items from Sohomod because it's nice that the order comes right to my door. Their website is very good about saying what's available. A lot of websites show something is available and then when you order, suddenly it is in back order.

They are great to do business with. They sell some nice furniture from companies such as J&M Furniture and Modway, but most important is their service. They are very responsive and bent over backwards to help us, especially as there were many delays (on our side). Delivery people are very professional and helpful. Note that they do not take the packaging away, but they do remove it to a place such as your garage. We had two deliveries and in one case the person did a fabulous job and packed up all of the non-recyclable packing materials and folded the boxes quickly and compactly. The other people just brought them to the garage, but at my request separated most of the cartons (for recycling) from the other packaging materials. It is important to note that they do their own deliveries (at least where we live) and do not apparently outsource to a third party, which helps to control quality. Highly recommended. Hope to buy from them again.
